Mission & Outreach

We annually give at least 10% of all tithes and offerings to people in need.

We want to live up to our motto, Hearts to God, Hands to Man!

Works of Compassion Abroad

We have a long term commitment to short term missions!

Every other year we send a mission team of 10-12 people to Guatemala. They bring with them approximately 1,200 pounds of school, house, and medical supplies and while there build 6-8 houses. We complete this work with our partner, the Arms of Jesus Children's Mission (AOJ). AOJ has built and maintains an elementary school, trade school, and medical clinic in Guatemala.

We sponsor over 65 children annually.

We also annually send financial support to the Anglican Relief and Development Fund Canada (ARDFC), our diocesan global aid agency.

Please see the following video of God's work in the lives of those in Guatemala:

Works of Compassion
at Home

With our time, talent, and treasure we are privileged to assist many local charities, such as: Easter Seals, Community Food Sharing Association, School Lunch Association, Rainbow Riders, Gathering Place, Choices for Youth, MUN Botanical Gardens, Habitat for Humanity, Turnings, Ronald MacDonald House, the Red Cross, Single Parents Association, and Street Reach.

We acknowledge that one of people’s greatest needs is for relationship and community. Our seniors are a huge priority and are regularly visited by our priest and parishioners. We are also committed to supporting our parishioners who are foster parents as they care for foster children.
